If you've been reading my newsletter, you may remember that not long ago I covered Moneybox's latest annual results, where the company reported another year of strong growth across customers, assets under administration, and revenue.

Today, the company is back in the headlines.

Moneybox is preparing a secondary share sale that values the business at around ยฃ800 million ($1.1 billion), while also becoming one of the first FinTechs to use the London Stock Exchange's new PISCES framework.

Another familiar UK FinTech name is making news as well. Tom Blomfield, Monzo's co-founder, has joined Anthropic, highlighting how AI talent is increasingly flowing into the companies building the next generation of financial infrastructure.

๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ ZA Bank has reported a net profit of HK$49 million while surpassing one million users. The bank attributed its growth to strong performance in wealth management, Web3 and AI, alongside expanding digital asset services and continued investment in AI-powered risk management.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Kraken supports the Tempo blockchain, enabling native deposits and withdrawals of USDT0 and USDC.e. The integration gives FinTechs, payment companies and stablecoin issuers access to Tempo's sub-second settlement and stablecoin-based transaction fees through Kraken's platform.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Kraken plans app relaunch with AI trading agents. The update positions autonomous AI agents as the core element of the trading experience, aiming to deliver personalized guidance and market monitoring that adapts to individual user objectives.

๐ŸŒ Stablecoin market cap has shrunk by $10 billion since May, but an analyst sees no reason to panic. The stablecoin market recorded its largest monthly contraction since 2022, with market capitalization falling by about $7.7 billion in June as crypto trading activity and on-chain liquidity weakened. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ Mastercard and Bank of Punjab expand strategic partnership to boost Pakistanโ€™s Digital Economy. The collaboration will focus on transit payments, government disbursements, cross-border remittances, and expanding the adoption of secure digital payment solutions across the country.

๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ณ Vikki Digital Bank becomes the official bank in Vietnam in the first domestic market partnership for AUFC. The partnership will promote the bank's digital financial services through fan engagement initiatives and integrate its banking platform with VietJet's ecosystem to combine travel, payments and loyalty benefits.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ European Dynamics and Viva.com have been selected by the European Commission's DG TAXUD to develop and operate the central payments platform for the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. The platform will manage certificate payments for businesses across all 27 EU member states.

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ด Bolivia weighs adding Tether's USDT to its national payments system as part of a broader effort to modernize digital payments. The transaction follows continued growth, with the company surpassing ยฃ115 million in annual revenue, achieving its third consecutive year of profitability, and growing to more than 1.9 million customers with over ยฃ23 billion in assets under administration.
