Polymarket Partners with LALIGA in the US & Canada
Hey FinTech Fanatic!
FinTech and sports collaborations aren’t slowing down.
On one side of the world, Polymarket has teamed up with LALIGA to launch prediction‑style markets for fans in the U.S. and Canada, turning matchday attention into a data‑driven, engagement‑rich product.
The multi‑year partnership with Polymarket includes premium broadcast visibility, fan‑focused digital and social programming, and exclusive experiences like VIP match hospitality and virtual meet‑and‑greets with LALIGA legends.
On the other side of the pitch, Coventry City is aiming to continue its sponsorship deal with Monzo Bank. A relatively modest football club deal that could suddenly become a multi‑million‑dollar branding opportunity if promotion back to the Premier League happens.
As football finance expert Kieran McGuire notes, front‑of‑shirt sponsorship values can jump from around £500,000 in the Championship to up to £8 million in the Premier League.
This shows that as gambling exits football shirt fronts, FinTech and finance‑adjacent brands are stepping in to claim attention, trust, and global audiences.
