Nexo Acquires Buenbit as It Accelerates a Bold Expansion Across Latin America

Hey FinTech Fanatics!

Nexo is acquiring Buenbit in a move that marks one of the largest digital asset expansions in Latin America.

The company manages $11B in assets and is pushing deeper into the region. Buenbit is a CNV-registered provider with strong traction in Argentina and Peru. The platform is known for its compliance-first approach and fiat-to-crypto rails.

With the acquisition, Buenbit clients get access to Nexo’s global product suite. High-yield earning tools, crypto-backed credit, and trading across more than 100 assets and 1,500 pairs. A pathway into full-scale digital asset wealth.

Nexo says the region is a proving ground for FinTech innovation. Local expertise meets global infrastructure, creating the foundation for rapid expansion over the next 12 months.

I’m keeping an eye on their plan to turn Buenos Aires into a regional hub. It becomes the anchor for partnerships and expansion across Argentina, Peru, and Mexico, where traditional financial access still lags.

If you're keeping an eye on where FinTech is heading, dive into today's updates👇. More big headlines coming your way tomorrow!

Cheers,

Marcel
