All eyes are on Miami next week, mine included 👀

Sibos will be officially underway in just a couple of days, and there will be a lot happening across the financial industry. 

AI. Digital assets. Payments. Data. Settlement. The future of finance. You get the picture.

There are quite a few items on the agenda this year, from agentic AI and tokenization to cross-border payments, the future of financial messaging, and payments modernisation.

But here’s what I’m really interested in.

What’s actually changing? What’s starting to become practical? And what’s still more hype than reality?

That’s what I’ll be looking for through the Sibos Announcement Radar, presented by ACI Worldwide.

After each day, I’ll pull together the moves that caught my attention and the developments I think are worth talking about.

ACI has a few things on my radar too, including its new financial messaging capability, the Solaris go-live, and its joint announcement with Swift on ledger-based payments.

Let’s see what these, and everything else coming out of Miami, tell us about where the industry is going.
